Help when you need it
Registry Rescue Support
Clear guidance for importing, reviewing, purchases, privacy choices, and local data. For a quick answer, start with the FAQ.
Getting started
Begin in the app with Review My Registry. Choose screenshots from your Photos library, review the import draft, and confirm only the items that Registry Rescue should use.
You do not need a retailer login or a Registry Rescue account. The app does not connect to or claim compatibility with a specific retailer.
Importing screenshots
Use clear, overlapping screenshots that show the list in a consistent order. Registry Rescue reads the screenshots on your device and creates a draft. If a screenshot cannot be read, keep the other selections and try a clearer capture.
Imported text is not automatically treated as confirmed registry data. You can remove an image before processing or cancel the import.
Confirming and correcting items
Review each detected item. Confirm accurate items, edit mistakes, remove non-items, mark uncertain rows, and add a missing item manually. Your choices—not the parser draft—become the basis for a saved registry.
Registry Review
Registry Review applies deterministic product logic to the information you confirmed. Evidence & Scope shows what supported a finding and what the review could not establish. Game Plan and Next Moves organize supported priorities; they are not a grade, certification, or safety determination.
Re-checking a registry
Add updated screenshots and review the changed draft before promoting a new review. The prior completed review remains available as history; incomplete re-check work does not silently replace it.
Weekly Registry Review and Full Registry Pass
Weekly Registry Review is a one-week auto-renewable subscription for keeping a registry review current as the registry changes. The App Store shows the localized billed price before purchase. It renews weekly until canceled.
Full Registry Pass is a one-time purchase that supports re-checking whenever the registry changes. Buying Full does not automatically cancel an existing Weekly subscription.
Restore Purchases
In Registry Rescue, open Settings & trust, then choose Restore Purchases. Use the same Apple Account that made the original purchase. A restore checks Apple purchase information; it does not charge you again.
Manage or cancel Weekly
Use Manage Weekly Subscription in app settings, or open Apple’s subscription management page. Apple controls subscription changes and billing.
Refunds
Purchases are processed by Apple. Registry Rescue cannot issue or promise an App Store refund. Submit an eligible request through Apple’s official service.
Privacy, AI explanations, and analytics
Screenshot import and OCR run locally. For eligible paid Registry AI explanations, bounded semantic facts may be processed off-device to explain validated findings. Raw screenshots, raw registry OCR, product titles or descriptions, and registry URLs are excluded.
Anonymous product analytics are optional, default off, and independent from purchasing. They exclude registry content. Review the full Privacy Policy and change the setting in Settings & trust.
Deleting local data
Delete one registry from its registry home to remove its associated local product, review, and AI-artifact data. Use the complete deletion action in Settings to remove all local Registry Rescue data and reset local analytics state.
Deleting local data does not cancel an Apple subscription and does not erase Apple’s purchase history or provider records the app does not control. See Privacy Choices for exact instructions.
Troubleshooting
- Keep the app open while a local import is processing.
- Try fewer, clearer screenshots if a file cannot be read.
- Review unresolved rows before saving the registry.
- Check your connection before a purchase or Registry AI explanation.
- Use Restore Purchases if verified access is not shown.
- Include the app version when contacting support.
